Italian rear for Anatoly Chubais

Tuscan villas of former Rusnano top managers Pimkin, Kiselev and Rapoport

The former head of Rusnano and the special representative of the president were spotted in Turkey. However, the final destination for Chubais and his wife  Dunya Smirnova  could be the Apuan Alps near the Ligurian Sea. Who is waiting for them there?  A photo of Anatoly Chubais allegedly withdrawing money from a Turkish ATM has spread across the Internet. However, few believe that the former head of Rusnano will settle in Istanbul. Apparently, the couple is heading to Italy, where other top managers of the state corporation have long settled.

On September 24, 2021,  Olga Pankratova  , the wife of Rusnano Deputy Chairman  Dmitry Pimkin  , posted a report on social media about how she and her husband were visiting his friend, who lives in Tuscan Carrara, for the second time. This man’s luxurious villa is located in the highlands of the Apuan Alps near the Ligurian Sea. It has a mild climate and evergreen palm trees.

Despite her wealthy husband, Pankratova can afford to earn some extra money. Now she is a stylist, helping wealthy people dress. One hour of walking around the capital’s boutiques in her company will cost fashionistas 10 thousand rubles. A monthly subscription for advice from a stylist on choosing clothes costs 80 thousand - for this money, the girl is ready to consult on choosing clothes daily by phone and sometimes in person. At the same time, the heart of the beauty has long been not in Moscow, where she has to work, but in the sunny Mediterranean, where she happily goes on vacation.

On September 24, Pankratova posted a lot of stories and photos from her friend’s villa. Having shown off her Dolce & Gabbana dress to her followers, she posed there on a Roman terrace decorated with huge pots of exotic plants. She took pictures of everything around: tents, sun loungers, a feast, cognac, wine and champagne. Behind the marble balustrade, one tier below, there is a well-kept garden and a swimming pool. Then her camera lens slides down the wooded slopes, wineries, red roofs of the 60,000-strong town of Carrara and falls on the blue sea. Her husband, the deputy chairman of Rusnano, is talking to that same mysterious friend. Perhaps his interlocutor is 68-year-old  Oleg Kiselyov  , the previous retired deputy chairman of Rusnano. Kiselyov himself does not post his mansions on social media, but recently he published views of the Mediterranean highlands with the geotag "Carrara". In general, he has been posting photos from the environs of Tuscany since 2013. He has Carrara winemakers as friends. Apparently, he spends a lot of time in this corner of Italy.
Thanks to Olga Pankratova’s footage, finding the villa of her husband’s friend was easy for the editorial staff. Up the winding Via Bedizzano past the Farmacio delle Apuane pharmacy to the village of Quarceta and down. In the satellite images, you can unmistakably discern the very same swimming pool, terraces, tents, balustrade and garden.

The official biography of Chubais’s associate Oleg Kiselyov is respectable. He is from a village in Stavropol, entered the capital’s MISiS, and stayed there as a teacher for seven years. In 1988, he had a hand in creating a small Soviet-Swiss enterprise, which grew into the giant Alfa Bank. Under  Boris Yeltsin,  he was a member of the Presidential Council and headed the Renaissance Capital investment group, which invested 34 billion rubles in RAO UES of Russia when Chubais managed it. Oleg Kiselyov spent many fruitful years under Chubais’s leadership at Rusnano, becoming deputy chairman there. In 2019, Kiselyov retired of his own free will. His name is mentioned in criminal and judicial databases. In 2006, Oleg Kiselev was given a suspended sentence under Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing property damage by deception). That same year, a criminal case was opened against him again, but he went into hiding. The man was periodically put on the federal and international wanted list until 2016; in Russia, he was sought not only in Moscow, but even by Lipetsk and Chelyabinsk operatives. However, this did not stop Oleg Kiselev from working as deputy chairman of Rusnano and exploring Tuscany. You can’t help but believe the evil tongues that claim that Kiselev is actually an Israeli citizen,  Gedaliah Waxer  .

Fifty kilometers from Carrara there is an equally picturesque place — the commune of Bagnone. 54-year-old  Irina Rapoport  lives there . She is also a former subordinate of Chubais, and worked as the CEO of the company "Rosnano Capital". In 2011, when she was interviewed, Rapoport posed with her family against the backdrop of a Mediterranean villa. In 2016, she posted on social networks the harvest from her own vineyards, grown in the Italian sun. - You can’t imagine how much!!! - she bragged about the harvest to her subscribers. Her Tuscan circle of friends is the same as Oleg Kiselyov’s. No wonder - neighbors.

Irina Rapoport is the daughter of Moscow dentists. In 1988, she went to study dentistry at New York University. Then she transferred to the University of San Francisco, where she received a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA. She says that she gained experience helping wealthy Americans plan their private fortunes and retirement savings. Almost 15 years later, she returned to Russia and became the director of private client relations at the Renaissance Capital investment group, headed by Oleg Kiselyov. In 2010, she followed him to Chubais’s Rusnano. According to some reports, Oleg Kiselyov and Irina Rapoport could have bought three villas in Italy. Allegedly, two for themselves, and one for their beloved Anatoly Borisovich. Perhaps he will now settle there with his wife Avdotya Smirnova.
Previously, Chubais actively helped the defendants in the case who left Russia; Kiselev handled this issue at Rusnano. But after Chubais left Rusnano, the assistance stopped; Anatoly Borisovich pretends that he doesn’t owe anyone anything anymore. And Kiselev and Irina Rapoport (former head of Rusnano Capital) left for Italy — there are three villas, one of which is waiting for the Russian Greta (this is what Chubais is jokingly called in his inner circle because of his current activities — he deals with climate change issues)

Anatoly Chubais, having fled Russia, left behind a $30 million house in the Moscow region

The day before, it became known that 66-year-old politician  Anatoly Chubais  left his post as a special representative of the Russian president and left Russia with his wife Avdotya (Dunya) Smirnova. Later, a man resembling Chubais was seen in Istanbul, Turkey. It is known that when leaving, the politician abandoned his luxurious villa in Peredelkino, Moscow Region, worth 30 million dollars. This is reported by the Telegram channel "NeMalakhov" .

Chubais became the highest-ranking official to resign after the start of military actions in Ukraine. Allegedly, he fled Russia because he refused to support the "special operation" in Ukraine. The Kremlin has already stated that "they know nothing about this."

However, Putin’s press secretary  Dmitry Peskov  was very reluctant to talk to Komsomolskaya Pravda journalists about Chubais’ dismissal. When asked how the Russian president reacted to Chubais’ dismissal, Peskov said that he did not.

"It’s unlikely that he reacted in any way. Well, he quit and quit. After all, don’t forget, he wasn’t, as they say, a regular employee, he was on a voluntary basis. He wasn’t a direct employee of the presidential administration,"  Peskov said and noted that the politician didn’t receive a salary.

He also did not say how exactly Chubais sent his resignation letter: in person or by email. He only said that it was addressed to Putin.

And when asked why the special representative of the Russian president hastily resigned and flew to Turkey, the press secretary said that, in general, it was not important.

"Listen, to be honest, I don’t understand why we devote so much time to this. Every day, someone leaves the administration, new employees come in. This is a fairly large and lively mechanism,"  Peskov summed up.

But when he flew to Istanbul with his third wife, Dunya Smirnova, Chubais left behind many valuable assets in Russia, including his luxurious Scandinavian-style villa in Peredelkino, near Moscow, worth $30 million.

The former chairman of the board of JSC "Rosnano" began construction shortly after his wedding in 2012. The mansion was built on a 1.6-hectare plot. The construction was carried out by the Swiss company SFO Concept AG. Avdotya chose the location.
"The house is much more about Tolya than about me. It was the last plot of land that was sold here, everything was built up. But it was quite difficult for me to marry this house, because it is too big,"  the host of the TV program "School of Scandal" said in an interview.

The area of the villa is more than 2 thousand square meters. On the territory of the plot there is also a guest house, a guard house and a garage for five cars. It is noteworthy that the dacha-museum of the poet Boris Pasternak and the dacha of the actor Albert Filozov are located nearby. Chubais, according to rumors, was going to buy it from the actor’s widow.
Chubais also built an estate in the Tver region, the value of which was estimated at 50 million dollars.
